DSI Introduces the DSI3600 Flash-based Solid State Disk System
Company’s new product offers more storage bandwidth and quicker backup at lower power expenditures

Designed for today’s enterprise data centers, the release of the DSI3600 offers more capacity and bandwidth, faster data storage, improved protection and lower energy expenditures.
Performance and capacity are the foundation of the enterprise-class DSI3600 Flash SSD system. With a capacity of up to 5-TB, a bandwidth of 3-GB/sec, and 250,000 IOPS, the DSI3600 is a cost-effective solution that offers more capacity at low power (325W). In addition, as a SAN storage unit, the DSI3600 provides advanced logical unit number (LUN) provisioning management, world wide name (WWN) masking, and advanced protection via its web-based management application.
Ideal for applications with high read-to-write ratios or high bandwidth requirements such as data warehousing, online transaction processing, batch processing, etc., the DSI3600 is completely expandable and uses 4Gbit Fibre Channel interfaces to directly connect to up to eight host devices and storage networks.
