As with any data storage device, reliability is a primary concern. The DSI3400 has been designed to
maximize system performance by eliminating I/O bottlenecks. As an economical solution, the DSI3400
includes redundant data storage media to ensure data integrity.

The primary storage media of the DSI3400 is DDR memory.  By transferring only frequently accessed
data such as log files, temporary tables, and indices to the DSI3400, I/Os are performed at main memory
speed of up to 4.5 GB/sec, making it ideal for speeding up processing on existing servers.
